Lead Process Engineer
Location: Oman, To work for Major Operator in Muscat Head Office
Start: ASAP
Duration: Permanent staff position

The Lead Process Engineer will the Technical Authority on Process side and will be responsible for all process activities.

The process Lead shall co-ordinate with Technical Services and Operations Team on requirement basis.

The Lead Process Engineer is required to coordinate process engineering activities including interfaces related to other disciplines (civil, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation)

Below are the main responsibilities but not limited to:
- To manage and co-ordinate the discipline activities, ensuring the technical integrity of designs undertaken by engineers and designers under his/her control.
- To carry out professional engineering activities in a highly competent and efficient manner and ensure that the technical and safety integrity of the engineering is maintained while completing the tasks within allocated time.
- To ensure that the work allocated is completed in compliance with Line Managers requirements including work of others in team.
- To provide guidance and leadership in technical matters and to ensure that his group are aware of and are working to current engineering standards and procedures.
- Responsible for the development and progress of their discipline/function.
- Preparation of Scope of Work Coordinate with engineering contractors.
- Participate in Risk reviews like HAZOP / HAZID/What-if.

Requirements (Minimum education required, background, experience, skills):
- Degree in chemical engineering (BSc, MSc or equivalent).
- Process Engineers in the 10+ years experience and at least 5+ years experience in onshore Oil and Gas Industry.
- The ability to lead a team of process engineers providing work direction and technical guidance.
- The ability to analyze process issues, to select appropriate engineering solutions and then define scope of modification.
- Effective prioritization and decision making skills to ensure technical and performance issues and targets are met.
- A key requirement will be the ability to work with the engineering service contractor.
- The ability to manage and plan a diverse workload.
- Experience in Detail Engineering is essential.
- Experience in pre-FEED/conceptual and feasibility studies is added advantage.
- Good mix of onshore and offshore projects is an added advantage.
- Previous experience in engineering consultancy will have added advantage.
- Experience in operating process simulators like Hysys, Pipesim, Flarenet is must.
- Well conversant with International standards applicable in Oil & Gas industry is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English (reading written and comprehension)

Energy & Power Department Govt. of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is looking for a dynamic and energetic candidate having in-depth understanding of the Exploration & Production (E&P) Oil & Gas sectors for appointment as CEO.


Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Job Description 
The CEO will work for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Oil & Gas Limited Company (KPOGLC) and Exploration & Production Company with an interest to work in upstream Oil & Gas activities.

His primary responsibilities are as follows:
   ·         Provide leadership and guidance for E&P activities, under direction and cooperation of the Board of Directors.
    ·         Safeguard the company’s interest to ensure short and long-term profitability, planned growth and maximized market value.
     ·         Implement and achieve strategic goals and objectives.
    ·         Build strong working relationship with senior management of E*P companies, Personnel from licensing authorities and joint venture companies.
     ·         Promote cordial relationships across all of the mentioned stake holders.
     ·         Other assignment assigned by the Government.
Experience
Twenty (20) years or more work experience with a large Oil & Gas company in Senior management positions. Preference will be given to candidates with CEO position experience and proven track record of achievements.
Qualification
Candidates holding Bachelors’ degree in Energy Management/Policy Earth Sciences, Petroleum/Chemical/Mining, allied Engineering disciplines, Geology and Geophysics.
Age limit
63 Years
Salary (PKR)
The selected candidate will be offered a 2 year contract of  employment (extendable based on performance) with market salary and other perks & privileges commensurate with the experience and company policy.
Selection Criteria
The Provincial Search Committee will interview the shortlisted candidates.
