The United Nations Childrens Fund (UNICEF) seeks a dynamic and creative individual to coordinate the process of fundraising to develop UNICEFs fundraising and partnership capacity with foundation funds and NGOs and make sure that we have sustainable predictable fundraising mechanism and directly guide and supervise the growing fundraising team, and also provide expert fundraising advice, analysis and technical support to the Gulf Area Representative. Job Description: 1-Implement an appropriate non governmental sectors including private sector fundraising strategy to reach out to the business community. 2- Implementation private sector fundraising direct appeals: test and develop all direct private sector fundraising means, including press and broadcast advertising, web, new media, direct mail and telemarketing. 3- Analyze and explore possibilities for implementation of mass appeals, including radiothons and telethons and public service announcements for private sector fundraising purposes. 4- Supervise the card and gift sales programme, driving an integrate approach that exploits synergies for corporate partnerships and the acquisition of new supporters. 5- Develop an annual work plan after implementing the appropriate market research for the introduction and the implementation of a methodical and profitable Private sector fundraising programme, including a budget for expenses and projected revenues. Search for innovative FR strategies and tactics. 6- Upon approval of work plan, ensure proper control of its implementation and adherence to budget and timely reporting. 7- Integrate PSFR into public awareness activities, that all information and advocacy materials include a call for funding support. 8- Oversee the market of the necessary ( including database) to cover the proper market of donors/ buyers and their donations/purchases. We are seeking a passionate and committed leader with excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the capacity to influence and advocate. Fluency in English and in Arabic is essential. Qualifications: Advanced university degree in one of the social sciences, communications, marketing and / or Private sector Fundraising. Experience: Five years of professional work experience in private sector fundraising, including familiarity with private sector fundraising methodologies: direct mail, corporate FR, web, new media and TV fundraising
