Main Tasks
- Supports the Sales team in negotiation and fulfillment of orders and ensures
optimal profitability for the organization.
- Manages handling of Letters of Credits, Bank Guarantees, Securities and other
financial instruments related to orders
- Issues invoices, monitors customer payments and collects overdue
- Coordination of accounts with financial institutions
- Responsible for local and group reporting of financial figures for the legal
entity according to standard accounting practices
- Statutory audits/certifications/approvals and Tax reporting
- Supports the Management and the other departments
with complete Financial information and analyses
Responsible for implementing and leading the local HR processes (recruiting,
development, performance management, compensation, training etc)
- Ensures adherence to Compliance directive in all transactions
Responsibilities / Authority
- Reports to Managing Director
- Functional report to Regional Head of Commercial
Required Education and Experience
Masters in Business Administration, Economics or related fields, preferably
with a specialization in Accounting and / or Controlling.
- Preferred: additional certification/training in these fields (e.g. CPA, CMA,
ACCA or similar)
- 5 years practical experience in Accounting, Controlling or Audit in an
international environment
Specialist Competencies
- Excellent understanding of Accounting processes and principles, in particular
Cost and Factory Accounting
- Good understanding of financial and legal principles in transnational
business, in particular trade finance
- Thorough knowledge of business processes in an industrial/manufacturing
context
- Excellent verbal and written skills in Urdu and English
Methodological Competencies
- Practical knowledge in MS Office, further experience in MS-Excel data
analysis
- Correspondence according to accepted standards
