PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

·          Post graduate degree along with 20 years of exposure at least with a proven track record in marketing and sales within the FMCG sector and must be well conversant with marketing in a B2B2C business having 15-18 years experience within an FMCG multinational.

·          Must have proven ability to develop solutions to business and marketing challenges.

·          Strong negotiation and communication skills and must be able to present core leadership competencies and approach challenges with creativity, analytical thinking, financial comprehension and critical reasoning. 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

·          Provide direction to the strategic, commercial and brand agenda across the entire business through various different sales channels.

·          Create and manage the overall marketing plan and strategy for the region. 

·          Working closely with the sales director and account managers, and drive the strategy on local decisions, to ensure maximum coverage and uptake of fullest possible product portfolio.

·          Ensure appropriate balance of channel partners are maintained and where necessary evaluate both existing and potential channels whilst implementing marketing programs that drive channel performance. Accountable for the management of available resources and collaborate with regional and central marketing to ensure the product development, content and marketing strategies to effectively address the resulting requirements. 

·          Manage budget and finances, materials, equipment and facilities by using, preparing, and evaluating budgets and providing support. 

·          Lead the team of marketers involved in working closely with the advertising and communication agencies to develop materials such as leaflets, point of sale and in store collateral to drive visibility of the brands.

Production Manager, reporting directly to Senior Executive, will
be responsible for advising, guidance and support of a group of
leaders daily & to initiate improvements in relation to problematic
areas of process and production. Report weekly on outputs, yields,
losses, efficiencies and cost minimizations

Requirements for this position:

       Qualifications in Food Science (or similar)
       Min 5 years experience in senior production management / supervisory role
       MUST HAVE MEAT PROCESSING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
       Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes
       Excellent knowledge of HACCP,  ISO standards
       Knowledge of production schedules and customer demands
       Experience with cost minimisation, efficiencies and continuous improvement drives
       Excellent people management skills, team orientated
       Excellent problem solving and prioritizing ability
       Strong technical ability, Hygiene, Satefy standards and Quality
           awareness

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

       Planning and Set up of Meat production plant in accordance with
           Industry requirement
       Managing & motivating a team of supervisors
       Demonstrate ability to provide support & guidance to supervisors

           regard to managing production personnel
       Plan & organize the daily production dept work load by area with
           reference to the production schedule requirements
       Batch record review
       Coordination of resources to meet the production schedule
       Participation in cross functional teams as appropriate
       Involved in recruitment & selection activities
       Expenditure responsibility for production site
       Optimise machine production output
       Batch formulation control
       Production efficiency
 / cost minimization / management of operating
           costs / employee labour efficiencies
       Daily & weekly reports on yields
       Liaise with Maintenance
       Management of manufacturing waste
       Quality control system upkeep -
       Generation, implementation & leadership of continuous improvement
           initiatives
 in yield, output, productivity & related aspects of
           production activities

Duties related to food:

  • Prior cooking experience is Must
  • Keep information about reservation and prepare food according to expected customer.
  • Monitor food preparation at different stages i.e. food quality and appearance.
  • Monitor all activities of live cooking.
  • Change name plates incase of new dish introduction, change in menu and at reception.
  • Monitor disposal of balance cooked and record in related document.
  • Ensure that food items are stored in a safe and hygiene free environment.
  • Maintain uniform taste throughout operation time.
  • To handle all food related customer complaints and take immediate corrective actions, if required.

Duties related to Store:

  • Issue & monitor all Raw materials received from store.
  • Handle raw material complaints

Duties related to staff:

  • Managing staff schedule.
  • Monitor personal hygiene of kitchen staff & hygienically clean work station.
  • Monitor that staff using actual /required equipment.
  • Responsible to maintain staff menu.
  • Responsible to conduct training & maintaining record.
  • Address emergency problems and grievances kitchen staff
  • Discuss changing in Quality Management System with QMR as well as Directors.
    ·            Manage employee morale and teamwork and recommending applicants for employment or for discipline, termination.

Recipe Development:

  • Prepare or arrange new product development, food testing and maintain PD forms & PD log

Computer System:

  • Prepare all reports in closing and forward it to Administrator and Director.
  • Issue internal office memo incase of changes in buffet menu
  • Follow all rules & regulations of ISO and follow directives from Directors as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate on-site reports of daily and monthly food preparation and activity records.

Other:

  • Basic computer skills required
  • Monitor closing activities and prepare summary report.
  • Workout costing of buffet sessions.
