MCB is one of the leading banks of
Pakistan with a deposit base of about Rs. 280 billion and total assets of around Rs.300 billion. Incorporated in 1947, MCB soon earned the reputation of a solid and conservative
financial institution managed by expatriate executives. In 1974, MCB was nationalized along with all other
private sector banks. This led to deterioration in the quality of the Bank's loan portfolio and service quality. Eventually, MCB was privatized in 1991.
The Bank has a customer base of approximately 4 million, a nationwide
distribution network of over 1,000 branches. During the last eighteen years, the Bank has concentrated on growth through improving service quality, investment in technology and people, utilizing its extensive branch network, developing a large and stable deposit base and managing its
non-performing loans via improved

Job Role / Tittle: MySQL DBA and PHP Developer
2 Positions (Contractual ) , Lahore Based.
Job Responsibilities:
* Development in database of MySQL as per the Audit / Compliance and
Regulatory Body requirements.
* Developing Web based interface for the application using PHP.
* Complex Reports generation with customized rules and views as per management requirements.
Required Skill set:
* BSCS / BCS / MSCS / MCS (minimum 16 years of Education) from a recognized and well reputed University.
* Ability to learn and articulate complex concepts and ideas and model them in databases. Strong databases modeling concepts required.
* Fresh or up to one year experience of development using PHP and MYSQL.
* Excellent
communication skills with impeccable written English.
* Ability to adapt quickly.
Desired but not required:
* Technical documentation of different phases of
Software Development Cycle.
* familiarity with Reporting tool like "
Crystal Reports", OR any other reputed reporting tool (Jasper,
IReport etc ).
* Distributed databases and centralized synchronization.
