About the Job
As Software Engineer, you will work in a global environment and apply
skills in data warehousing, data analysis,
business intelligence to
meet data needs of business users in the company.
Responsibilities
* Interface with business customers, gathering requirements and
delivering complete reporting solutions
* Use Hyperion Essbase as an analytic platform for delivering
enterprise
analytic applications for reporting, analysis, modeling and
planning.
* Use Oracle BI to develop interactive dashboards and reports
* Tune application and query performance using SQL
* Validate the data using automated
test scripts and SQL
* Be adaptive. Be productive quickly in a new environment that is fast
paced. Learn new processes and multiple technologies. “Roll up your
sleeves” and do what needs to be done
Other Details:
Basic Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor's Degree in
Computer Science or related field
* Overall Experience: 2-5 years or equivalent experience
* 2 years of Hyperion/Essbase application
configuration/administration, development/support. Essbase is must.
* 2 years of experience working in data warehousing, data analysis,
data modeling
* 1+ years development experience with notable BI reporting tools
(Oracle BI Enterprise Edition is preferred)
* Excellent knowledge of Oracle, SQL and OLAP
* Strong verbal/written skills
Desired Qualifications
* Training in Quality Processes like ISO/CMM
* Development experience with Java/.NET
