Position: ACCOUNTANT\FOOD COST CONTROLLER
Reporting to Chief accountant /Finance Manager
OBJECTIVE & GOALS
The main objective is to food cost control by preventing wastage, control & reduces kitchen expenses by proper cost analysis. Compare with selling price of meals & impose direct control on inventory.
DUTIES:
1. Determine cost per meal & each code after setting menu price according to menu costing procedures.
2. Prepare and implement Menu planning procedure to determine selling price per meal.
3. Follow up prices of fresh items daily, compare it with similar suppliers’ prices & keep information bank for reference.
4. Monitor employee’s meal cost & check conformity for quantity & quality.
