- This role is focused on Forecasting and Inventory Management functions.
- Working closely with the CIO and the Logistics team, the person would be required to analyse user requirements, develop and implement solutions that enhance forecasting & inventory management.
- All day-to-day activities with regard to the development of the forecasting / inventory planning solution will be dealt with by this role ensuring that projects are managed within agreed time, cost, quality standards to enhance commercial performance and meet overall business objectives.
- To interact with Logistics users to determine requirements and to develop and support solutions to meet these requirements
- To implement and manage technology to support solution requirements and where necessary integrate these with ERP and other systems
- To plan projects to ensure that time, cost and quality standards are met
- To maintain all documentation related to projects including technical and user manuals
- To train end users and ensure that support is available as necessary
- Strong programming skills in VB, VB.Net, and SQL
- Work experience in a FMCG / supply chain environment with good understanding of forecast, demand, replenishment cycles + knowledge of designing solutions to meet nuances of a thriving supply chain function
- A minimum of 4 years of work experience as a developer managing complete systems development lifecycle and 1-2 years project management experience using structured IT methodologies.
