PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

Masters
Degree in Pharmacy or a Doctoral degree with at least 15 year
experience, preferably in a multinational environment is required with
last 3 years in a similar role.
This is a leadership position requiring excellent leadership and management skills and full command on the function.
Excellent problem solving and decision making skills are a must.
An excellent communicator and a team player, the ideal incumbent should also have high level of analytical skills and must be able to meet tight deadlines with zero errors.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
|
Provide
strategic and operational leadership to the Quality function locally,
as well as contribute via inputs to regional and global Quality
organization.
Ensure
that a robust and effective Quality Assurance and Quality Control
system is in place which is in line with Corporate Guidelines and
applicable laws.
Manage
and ensure Implementation of required quality parameters of applicable
Quality Modules and Implementation Guidelines at all level of
manufacturing, storage and distribution as well as at toll
Manufacturing.
Ensure
approval and timely releases according to set standards, monitor
contract manufacturing and handle legal issues involving the officials
of Ministry of Health.
Manage
nominated third parties (toll manufacturers) and ensure product
quality, timely release & regulatory compliance to the Marketing
Authorization & cGMP’s for marketed products supplied.
Inspect and audit the suppliers to evaluate and develop quality awareness.
Act as a link between Corporate Quality Assurance of various BU’s.
Develop new products and reformulation.
Ensure safety aspects of the entire QA Labs and responsible for business continuity plan.
Comply
and ensure compliance to Health, Safety and Environment policies,
guidelines and requirements as applicable by law and Corporate
Guidelines.
Comply
and ensure compliance to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Quality
and other related policies, guidelines and requirements as applicable by
law and Corporate Guidelines.

Lead (plan, execute & follow up) achievement of VAS Business Plan
goals (including financial contribution) belonging for the products of
responsibility
-- Finalize commercial arrangement for Vendor/Content Sourcing after consultation with Segments Team
-- Maintain prime customer liaison and first internal contact on VAS commercial matters
-- Initiate and communicate 12 – month’s market rolling and activity plan (detailed quarterly).

Initiate product campaigns and promotions development in coordination
with the marketing communication team during product launch and
throughout the product life cycle.
-- VAS and Segment managers work
in close coordination & ensure revenue achievement from all VAS
streams i.e. Content, Data, Utilities etc. segment wise.
-- Communicate cross CD and divisions the scope, schedule and technical/financial terms of VAS related
activities with the purpose to secure necessary operational involvement, resources and ownership cross
divisions.
