Position Summary:

The PHP Software Engineer will develop specifications and code moderately complex software applications in addition to modifying and maintaining existing software. This position requires intensive design, coding and documentation. This position compulsorily requires PHP software engineer with good command over web development tools and technologies.

Qualifications and Skills Requirement:

      ·         Minimum graduate having at least two year experience

·         Good software engineering academic background

·         Excellent programming experience with PHP

·         Experience with Object Oriented Programming, MVC and other Design Patterns

·         Working experience on at least one PHP MVC based framework preferably Yii or Zend

·         Good command over SQL as query language with relational databases (essentially MySQL). Experience with Schemaless databases is plus

·         Extensive front-end web development with HTML, CSS and JQuery

·         Developing and consuming web services

·         Sound knowledge of Apache and its configuration

·         Up to date with the latest happenings in the technology and capable to adapt new patterns

Responsibilities:

      ·         Writing complex and secure applications from scratch or by customizing readymade solutions

·         Working closely in a team of Project Manager, Technical Lead, UX Designers and Developers

·         Performing quality tests before releasing builds to QA team for quality assessment

·         Creating technical documentation of entire software before and after the release of product

·         Maintaining released software by writing new features and fixing existing bugs in collaboration with support and quality assurance teams

·         Taking part in building a highly proficient and productive team

Position Summary

The J2EE Software Engineer will be responsible for the design and implementation of a variety of software solutions in addition to modifying and maintaining existing software.

 

Essential Job Functions:

·         Ensure adherence to engineering processes such as code reviews, source control, unit testing, use case analysis, defect management.

·         Strong proficiency in the J2EE APIs, particularly Java-based application servers (e.g. BEA Web Logic, IBM Web Sphere) with EJBs, servlets, and JSP.

·         Strong working knowledge with relational databases - preferably MS SQL Server and Oracle

·         Authentication and authorization concepts.

·         Experience with Application Servers such as Weblogic and Websphere.
