Role: Monitor & maintain grid station equipment including conventional switch-gear, gas-insulated switch-gear power-transformers, auto-transformers, instrument-transformers, station auxiliaries & other allied equipment Assign work to Assistant Manager & supervise their work: To monitor & maintain conventional switch-gear, gas insulated switch-gear, power transformers, auto-transformers, instrument transformers, control gear, control panels, bus-bar systems, lightening-arrestors, battery-banks, battery chargers, AC/DC panels, measuring/recording instruments, capacitor-banks, HVAC systems, compressors, station lighting & station earthing. Test circuit breakers & transformer protections. Maintain transformer oil & forced cooling system of transformers.
