TRAINEE PROGRAM 2014- CENTRAL DEPOSITORY COMPANY OF PAKISTAN LIMITED:
After successful completion of its first batch of Management Trainee Program, CENTRAL DEPOSITORY COMPANY OF PAKISTAN LIMITED is pleased to announce its second batch. Those of you who are interested in this opportunity may read the following details carefully to understand the requirements:
THE SELECTION PROCESS:
Round 1: Screening of CVs/Resumes from a pool of candidates
Round 2: Written test of shortlisted candidates
Round 3: Group discussion
Round 4: Panel interview
CRITERIA FOR APPLICATION:
• Qualification: ACCA Qualified, ACA Part Qualified, or MBA in Finance / HR / Marketing.
• Age: the applicant’s age should not be over 28 years.
• CGPA: 3.00 or above for MBAs.
• Graduates of Summer 2013, Fall 2013, and Spring 2014 semesters are encouraged to apply.
The candidates selected from the above screening process shall be offered the “Management Trainee Officer” program on the following terms and conditions:
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Duration:
The program shall be of one year and will be carried out into two phases:
1. First six months, trainees would be given training in different departments across the organization.
2. For remaining six months, trainees would be posted in one department to gain on the job exposure in one of the designated area.
Stipend:
A fixed stipend of Rs. 30,000 per month shall be paid to trainees for the duration of the program. Other benefits like leave, health insurance etc., shall also be available.
Employment:
Upon successful completion of the one year program, trainees may be offered a permanent position subject to vacancy and performance. No commitment is being made on part of Central Depository Company for permanent position.

The program will revolve around the following areas:
• Business Exposure: A comprehensive orientation program is designed to fully equip trainees with thorough knowledge, policies and procedures of the business.
• Market Exposure: arrangements with relevant institutions such as SECP, KSE, NCCPL, PMEX, corporate brokerage houses, AMCs, etc. has been made in order for trainees to get full exposure about the market.
• Insight of Systems & Technology: Trainees shall be given access to the systems and technologies being used at CDC to understand and apply in their assignments.
• Trainees shall be given training on regulatory regime which would widen their learning, equipping them for future vacancies at relevant institutions/organizations.
