This individual will be contracted to provide enhancements/updates to an existing customized software solution; a database driven instructional management system. This individual will have a fundamental role in the district and must possess:
- Two or more years of software engineering and/or web development experience.
-Must experienced in interspersed software
- Clear communication.
- A friendly, flexible and helpful disposition (vital due to the levels of people they will be working with).
- Strong programming skills.
- Effective organizational skills to manage tasks, deadlines, and fluctuating workloads.
- Promptness and efficiency.
Platforms:
- Desktop/Laptop: Macintosh OS X and Windows XP.
- Servers: Novell, Windows, Microsoft Internet Information, Microsoft SQL.
Languages/Technologies:
- HTML/DHTML.
- Microsoft Active Server.
- PHP.
- SQL Query Analyzer, Profiler, and Import/Export Wizard.
- Experience integrating ASP and PHP with database connectivity for web applications.
Other Background:
- Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Experience working with K-12 education and curriculum helpful.
- Ability to demonstrate advanced knowledge in the above skills is a must.
