Job Title                :               Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager

Qualification         :               Graduate

Experience            :               7 years in relevant field, preferably in buffet concept.

Location                :               Karachi


Duties related to food:

  • Prior cooking experience is Must
  • Keep information about reservation and prepare food according to expected customer.
  • Monitor food preparation at different stages i.e. food quality and appearance.
  • Monitor all activities of live cooking.
  • Change name plates incase of new dish introduction, change in menu and at reception.
  • Monitor disposal of balance cooked and record in related document.
  • Ensure that food items are stored in a safe and hygiene free environment.
  • Maintain uniform taste throughout operation time.
  • To handle all food related customer complaints and take immediate corrective actions, if required.

Duties related to Store:

  • Issue & monitor all Raw materials received from store.
  • Handle raw material complaints

Duties related to staff:

  • Managing staff schedule.
  • Monitor personal hygiene of kitchen staff & hygienically clean work station.
  • Monitor that staff using actual /required equipment.
  • Responsible to maintain staff menu.
  • Responsible to conduct training & maintaining record.
  • Address emergency problems and grievances kitchen staff
  • Discuss changing in Quality Management System with QMR as well as Directors.
  •    Manage employee morale and teamwork and recommending applicants for employment or for discipline, termination.

Recipe Development:

  • Prepare or arrange new product development, food testing and maintain PD forms & PD log

Computer System:

  • Prepare all reports in closing and forward it to Administrator and Director.
  • Issue internal office memo incase of changes in buffet menu
  • Follow all rules & regulations of ISO and follow directives from Directors as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate on-site reports of daily and monthly food preparation and activity records.

Other:

  • Basic computer skills required
  • Monitor closing activities and prepare summary report.
  • Workout costing of buffet sessions.

Sr. Static Equipment Engineer Required - Abu Dhabi

Requirements: 
B.Sc. Mechanical /Metallurgy Engineering Minimum 7 years experience in engineering & design Supervise the design works of consultants/engineering contractors to ensure that they are in accordance with the scope of work. Supervise mechanical engineering design for stationary equipment/packages and development for projects associated with gas production/treatment and transportation and provides troubleshooting guidance to operating companies, as required. Review bidders lists, bid documents for contract/purchase of equipment such as vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, boilers, air dryers, flare system, etc. Audit installations during construction, witness pre-commissioning and commissioning of equipment and ensure that the installation and the equipment are in accordance with specifications for critical equipment. Design in-house engineered works including drawing, specifications/data sheets and bills of quantities. Develop and write statement of requirements for new projects in collaboration with operators and ensure its co-ordination with operator/sponsor. Develop the company specifications, standards and guidelines for use in-house or by the contractors with regard to projects undertaken.
