Masters Degree + Law Graduate

Experience

10-15 years experience in the field of Industrial Relations having knowledge of all relevant laws regarding disciplinary matters, court cases, labor union issues etc.

Job Functions

  • Handle and advise on all disciplinary matters including issuance of disciplinary letters/ charge sheets, reviewing inquiry reports etc.

 

  •  Follow up, monitor and update all court cases (before Supreme Court, High Court and Labor Courts). Prepare recommendation and coordinate with lawyers and other staff regarding these cases.

 

  • Handle various grievances/ disputes raised by Workers' Union (CBA)

 

  • Implement and observe all decisions/ clauses signed by Management and Union through Charter of Demands and implementation of all labor laws as amended by Government from time to time.

 

  • Act as Trustee/ Secretary of the Workers Profit Participation Fund Board which includes making recommendations and looking after its distributions and other related matters.

 

  • Supervise various matters like Hajj Balloting, Children Education Awards, Daughter Marriage Assistance Scheme, loans and leave encashment, EOBI Pension cases and EOBI registration.

 

  • Manage and handle all issues related to Service Providers like;
    • Recruitment
    • Managing, renewing, reviewing contract agreements.
    • Maintain data of contractual workforce.
    • Monitor terms and conditions of employment and various facilities for contractual workers.

Skills Required

  • Knowledge of IR system and ability to negotiate with labor union on various matters.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.

Experience

10-12 years of experience in Human Resource Management Functions.

Job Functions

  • Plan and conduct job analysis. Design the method regarding systematic gathering and organizing of information for  job description, job specification, job evaluation etc.

 

  • Ensure proper execution of annual Performance Management cycle.

 

  • Carry out career planning and succession planning, review future plans of organization and determine gaps (process, procedure, professionals) and suggest recommendations accordingly.

 

  • Develop strategy for training and development of employees so as to ensure their professional growth and development.

 

  • Develop training modules, training strategies, policies and procedures and issue guidelines for developing training plans for the year.

 

  • Coordination and selection of external training providers and resource persons.

 

  • Determine return on training investment.

 

Skills Required

  • Leadership ability, strong interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem solving ability.

 

  • Strong team player, flexibility and tolerance in approach with high degree of integrity, strong work ethics and cultural awareness.
