Messaging Specialist(Networks) at Zayed University - UAE

The Computing Services Department seeks a

Messaging Specialist
to mainly manage, maintain and administer the Messaging infrastructure for Zayed University campuses and ensure robust, reliable and scalable messaging and server infrastructure availability for all campus entities.
The Requirements:




  • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or higher Degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in the design and management of complex messaging and network infrastructure.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in designing and implementing MS Exchange Systems and a minimum of 3 years experience in designing and supporting VmWare environments.
  • Working knowledge of Cisco networks switching, Cisco routers, Cisco switches (ATM, Ethernet), Firewalls, IPS/IDS and Sniffer and in-depth knowledge of VmWare, IBM blade and SAN hardware.
  • Current MCSE certification in Active Directory and MS Exchange, SharePoint experience.
  • Strong skills in Exchange 2007, Active Directory, Windows 2008, VmWare/Vsphere / Vcenter software and in building virtualized server environments using VmWare.
  • Good experience in migration from other messaging systems to MS Exchange.
  • Fluency in English and ability to travel between Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
