1.     Position – Condition Monitoring Engineer

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

2.1   Regularly monitors activities of assigned group of condition monitoring specialists from Condition Monitoring and Quality Assurance department. Owns quality & timeliness aspect of  condition monitoring activity of rotating  Machine Trains (Driver and driven) as per relevant applicable procedures and ensures compliance and implementation of the developed procedures in totality.	20%
2.2   Responsible for condition monitoring / reliability and performance evaluation aspect of the rotating Machine Trains (Driver and driven) of assigned plants. Regularly reviews vibration data for assigned machines and generates reports and triggers necessary actions. Ensures that report is clearly specifying recommended corrective action and time line for the corrective actions. Reviews Thermodynamic performance for the critical machines using on line system and issues reports. Keeps a track of "Equipment under Alert" list for assigned plant area. Establishes proper storage of the Equipment report and data	25%
2.3   Does a regular review of reliability Indicators for rotating machines  Machine Trains (Driver and driven) and issues a report highlighting areas of attention and corrective action for it.  Develops and implements preventative maintenance procedures and conditions monitoring programs. Makes recommendations to eliminate future equipment problems.	10%
2.4 For the exceptional cases, where in expert help is required from "Rotating Equipment Engineering" section, Supports and gets involved in problem solving process and facilitates specific needs of vibration data collection as required. Does necessary coordination / information exchange. Provides necessary information, as per need of Engineering Team.	10%
2.5  Drives and owns on line / off line software programs and takes care for timely upgrades. Ensures Machinery name plate data and historical data is available and of good quality	10%
2.6  Does regular management and ensures availability of software alarms, machinery information, base lines data, start-up / shutdown data (for critical machines) and historical data in on line and offline machinery management systems.	15%
2.7   Ensures regular participation and engagement of the team for RCA / RCM process as and when required for assigned machines. Performs other duties such as maintaining work records and maintenance repair history logs, attending regular meetings with Maintenance Engineers and the Superintendents.	10%

 

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS::

 

Describe the minimum educational level and additional work knowledge typically required for the job to be performed at a competent level. This has to do with the educational background, special courses, experience in specific areas and in specific circumstances, minimum number of years of experience, etc.

 

Qualifications:

 

1. Minimum BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

                                   

Experience:

 

1. Minimum  5-7  years experience in Mechanical Engineering, including Rotating Equipment maintenance, condition monitoring,  in a refinery, power or process plant.

 

Offer Salary:

 

            SR 8000-12000 plus Family Status

Skills:

 

1. Advanced communication skills.
2. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
3. Good knowledge of Machinery condition Monitoring technologies and maintenance philosophies is desirable.
4. Excellent working, Maintenance and corrective procedure of rotating and associated equipment, specifically centrifugal compressors.
5. Computer literate.
6. Very good knowledge of English.
7. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
