Job Description Ensure that requisite HSSEQ regulations and standards are maintained and implemented at the assigned station for a) all personnel working, visiting or transiting IRSHAD owned or managed premises and b) all assets owned, or managed by IRSHAD and all assets transported at or from the station, c) the environment in which IRSHAD owned or managed assets or IRSHAD personnel operate, in line with Irshad and ADNOC policies, standards and guidelines and country level legislation and regulations. HSSEQ Awareness and Training ? Non contractual HSSEQ training; HSSEQ awareness and familiarization including HSSEQ campaigns and education programs. ? Maintain records of contractual training, identify gaps and advise relevant Process Owners. (Is this relevant ?) ? Guide workforce and help in understanding: a) HSSEQ issues, awards, meetings. b) Usage of Toolbox Talks. c) Usage of Hazard Register. d) Requirement of timely corrective actions. e) KPI's and Strategic Action Plan. Preliminary Investigation ? Carryout preliminary incident investigation immediately on occurrence of incident in order to determine the underlying causes of the incident. HSSEQ Audits ? Conduct HSSEQ inspections and Audits of personnel, assets and the environment to monitor compliance with company HSSEQ regulations and standards. ? Regulate and enforce 'Permit to Work' System. HSSEQ MIS and Reports ? Prepare HSSEQ reports and generate relevant information for the station as required by IRSHAD/PPA/OPCO's for decision making purposes. ? Maintain HSSEQ data, records and statistics, for KPI's, ISTOP, CAR's, SID's client/authority HSSEQ visits/ inspection to enable the monitoring of and compliance with HSSEQ standards. ? Identify gaps, trends and deficiencies to recommend improvements in HSSEQ implementation at stations.

Other Information QUALIFICATIONS A degree in Health, Safety or Environmental Sciences or an equivalent qualification. Good knowledge of local legislation and ISO standards and best practice on HSSEQ. Good understanding and knowledge of Marine Operations, ISO 9001-2000, ISM Code, ADNOC COP's and OPCO HSEMS. EXPERIENCE 5 to 7 years of HSE experience in an industry like the Oil & Gas segment where importance is given to this function. Exposure of at least 3 years in a supervisory role is considered essential. SKILLS The ability to manage change and implement new HSSEQ systems. Communication skills, presentation and facilitation skills. Technical writing skills, computer skills, instructional skills, planning and organization skills. Ability to conduct accident and fire investigations and root cause analysis. BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES Interpersonal skills, consciousness and ability to generate awareness of HSSEQ at a station, proactive approach, highly adaptable to change, maturity, attention to detail and vigilance for compliance with HSSEQ policies, systems and standards.
