We are looking for candidates for the position of Manager Business Planning, Budgeting, and Reporting at a Large Telecom Multinational Company.

Position Title:  Manager Business Planning, Budgeting & Reporting
Location: Islamabad
Sector: Telecom
Company Type: Large Telecom Multinational Company
Salary: 100K to 200K -- may vary

Essential Requirements:
CA (Charted Accountant) – This qualification is a must (Please do not send CV otherwise)
About 3 years or more post qualification experience
Recent experience in Multinational company or prestigious (Big 4) accounting firm


Note: Telecom sector experience is not a requirement 

Job Description

Analyze the budget estimates from all the departments of the organization and critically review them for correctness, accuracy and completeness.

Monitor the budget throughout the year for monthly and quarterly group management reporting.

Ensure Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly Internal Management Reporting.

Conduct Month end estimation of Profit & Loss Account for Internal Management prior to closing.

Analyze estimates from all departments regarding their business plans.

Rationalize Business Plan inputs and suggest suitable inputs.

Consolidate Business Plan models for submission to Parent Company/ Higher Management.

Carry out sensitivity analysis for Business Plans.

Carry out detailed analysis of various costs such as COGS, OPEX and CAPEX for cost optimization.

Gather data regarding the industry best practices to facilitate the assessment of efficiency of costs.

Regularly meet with the stakeholders to ensure that the initiatives identified are properly and timely implemented.

Update the status and identify the actual savings as a result of implementation of the initiatives highlighted as a result of the analysis of the costs.

The ideal candidate should:

Have an MBA degree from a reputable university or be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (Telecom experience and Telecom Engineering degree will be an added advantage).

Have 6-9 years of relevant experience (for MBAs) or 2-5 years post qualification experience (for qualified CAs)

Essential Skills:

Have strong analytical and quantitative analysis skills.

Be creative and innovative in handling problems

Desirable Skills:

Strong interpersonal skills

Sound co-ordination and follow up skills;

Ability to meet deadlines under pressure working conditions on continuing basis

Computer Proficiency:

Advanced level proficiency in operating MS Office
