DBA / Server Administrator positions are open at Plumsmedia (Pvt.) Limited.
Job Requirement:
• 3+ years MS SQL Server Clustering
• Install, Configure SQL Server 2005 and administration of SQL Server Cluster
• Upgrade database from 2000 to SQL 2005/2008
• Consolidate & Migrate database from server to another.
• Restore DBs in the production environment.
• Maintenance of SQL server.
• Disaster Recovery and capacity Planning
• Hands on and experience on SQL server 2005/2008 installation, configuration and Clustering and Mirroring (High availability)
• Very good knowledge in MS SQL Server 2005/2008 Architecture Performance measure.
• MCITP: MS SQL Server 2005 Administration certified (Preferred)
• Hands on experience on MS SQL Server Consolidation.
• Hands on Backup and Restore in production environment.
• Manage dedicated windows server
• Knowledge about designing, planning, deployment and maintaining System Infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Proxy / Exchange Servers including versions of MS ISA Server; MS Exchange Server.
• Knowledge of Mail / Web Server including versions of MS SMTP Server; Web Mail / Apache Web Server.
• Design and Implement effective disaster recovery plan.
Experience:
• The Candidate should be Minimum 2-3 years of working experience.
