Job Title: Manager MIS
Job Location: Islamabad, Pakistan

1. Purpose of the Job
Responsible for the overall MIS function, providing leadership, coordination, and management of the MIS processes and functions. Supervises the team that provides MIS support to all functions IN ORDER TO ensure efficient & effective planning and implementation of MIS.

Requirements

a. Min. job Related Education and experience required, Minimum Bachelors (full-time, 4 Years) Degree in Information Technology. Degree in MIS is preferred.
8 to 10 years of total experience, 5 years of relevant experience with at least 6 years in the managerial capacity.

3. Functions & Responsibilities (duties to be performed by this position)

1. Strategic Planning
Responsible for strategic direction, planning, implementation, running of the organizations MIS functions.

2. MIS Need Analysis
Analyze computer system needs for management information and functional operations; determine scope and priorities of project and system capacity and equipment acquisitions for organization's MIS functions. Provide support to key users in the selection, procurement, usage and maintenance of software programs and hardware to ensure that their needs are met.

4. MIS Planning & Budgeting
Review and establish corporate MIS policies and standards to ensure compliance to world-class standards. Planning, developing and implementing the MIS budget, obtaining competitive prices from suppliers, to ensure cost effectiveness. Manage and implement MIS projects within the organization; Ensure that the organization's strategic goals and business objectives are achieved. The incumbent works with other Managers to design an MIS platform & systems to enhance the company's operations.

5. MIS Project Planning & Implementation
Coordinates, manages and tracks organisation's MIS projects, activities and schedules and identifies and resolves issues to ensure resources are utilized appropriately and all phases are documented accordingly.

6. MIS User Trainings
Assesses organization's MIS training needs and requirements. Negotiates with vendors for IS training programs as approved. Coordinates and implements MIS training and on-going education for employees Oversees progress and effectiveness of training programs.

7. Technology Upgradation
Evaluates new information systems products and emerging trends in this MIS field and recommends changes to existing products or services Educates staff on the use of new technology; ensures products and solutions are applied in a manner that maximizes usefulness.

8. Team Management
Monitor & supervise the team's daily work and ensure everybody is working efficiently IN ORDER TO manage MIS team efficiently.
