JOB TITLE : SAP PROJECT MANAGER

Position Overview:
·  SAP Project Manager main function is to plan, monitor and control green field SAP implementation project within the company. Shall be fully responsible for outcome of the Implementation Project.
· Formulate strategy for project; Define scope and discuss along with commercials with the Implementation Partner and advise management in proper selection of Implementation partner.
·   Lead the SAP Core Team in selection of consultants on implementation partner side.
·  Preparing company for SAP in terms of Change Management Process, Studying and identifying gaps in the existing system, provide guidance and focus on critical success factors.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
1.   Directly manage the SAP Implementation Core Team
2.   Coordinate with Implementation Partner Project Manager for proper implementation
3.   Manage project operations according to the project management methodology
4.   Control project scope and monitor project work plans
5.   Provide leadership and direction to project teams
6.   Assign tasks and coordinate resources on client side
7.   Control costs & expenses to agreed budget with firm commitment to Management
8.   Identify critical resources/activities and monitor them
9.   Report project status to the Steering committee / Management Representative
10.  Ensure that deliverables are accomplished on schedule
11.  Propose changes of planned activities and schedules to the Project Sponsor
12.  Advice and assist business in the improvement of business processes
13.  Ensure timely issue resolution and/or appropriate escalation of issues
14.  Implement the SAP system per the approved schedule.  Provide input on the form and content of all key project activities comprising of but not limited to:    
- Project Charter; Project Plan; Business Blueprint; User Documentation; User Training
15  Implement SAP Best Practices where ever possible to reduce efforts
16. Supporting teams on issues related to User Documentation and  Training,    
17.  Management of User Acceptance Testing and Cut Over Strategy and plan
18.  Management of all change control items and Issue Log
19. Provide expertise in the ASAP implementation methodology, training the personnel in its use, tailoring the methodology to the JAL requirements and ensuring that the appropriate documentation is completed.

Internal: All project managers, department and divisions heads, management representative and top executive management
External: Implementation Partners, Business partners, Consultants, Govt. Dep’t & agencies.

Work Experience Requirements:
·       Should have handled all facets of Finance and Accounting e.g. Budgeting process, Accounts payable, Accounts Receivable, Chart of Accounts, General Ledger, Assets Management, Controlling, Cash Flow, Profit & Loss statement, Balance Sheet etc.
·       Domain experience of at least 10+ years in EPC/Man Power Business Industry in Finance and Controlling Function with 7+ years of SAP exposure.
·       Should have done minimum 2 SAP Implementation Projects and 2 Production Support as FICO consultant and should have lead min 2 Green field Implementation Projects as a Project Manager.
·       Exposure to SAP Projects for EPC/Man Power business needed and having worked in GCC/KSA shall be added advantage.

Education Requirements:
1.    Graduate Degree in Commerce / ICWA / CA
2.    SAP Certified FICO Consultant
3.    Certified Project Management
