Accountants Required for Dubai, Doha, Qatar
Job Summary
Responsibilities and Reporting:
• As the senior accountant, you will report directly to the Managing Director of the Company, and be responsible for managing and taking responsibility for key client accounts.
• The Senior Accountant is responsible for completing the client accounting requirements including handling creditors, debtors, payroll, bank reconciliation and balance sheet schedules. Some administration and HR related tasks may also be required.
• Additional tasks include preparing client monthly financial reports, which involve liaising with clients to gather data and provide feedback to them.
• Prepare cash flow and income statement forecasts
• Assist clients by preparing their annual budgets.
• Address client queries relating to their accounts.
• Take on the role as a business advisor to clients, by providing them with suggestions and recommendations on how they can better manage the financial aspects of their business: optimization of costs, improving cash flow, improve systems and processes, and identifying strong and weak performing segments of their business.
• Attend client meetings as required, including board meetings as a representative of the company.
• Ability to take on project related consultancy work such as business plans, policies and procedures and internal reviews.
• Performs monthly analysis on vendor payments to ensure payments were received and processed, as well as identify causes of late payments and/or lost discounts
• Ensures that all payments are paid timely and critical payments are appropriately managed
• Establishes and supports a set of core accounts payable metrics for monitoring and communicating levels of performance
• Assists with analyzing recurring issues to help identify process improvements
• Reviews periodically accounts payable internal controls to ensure compliance
• Maintains all accounts payable files and answers vendor inquires
• Processes invoices and posts information to appropriate accounting ledgers
• Develops and runs reports on a frequent basis
• Assists in managing accounts payable implementation projects and tasks
Desired Skills and Experience
- You must be a qualified Chartered Accountant, with a minimum of 5 years. You must have worked for a large International, Regional position. You must have excellent communication and relationship management skills, as dealing with senior internal and external stakeholders is a key part to the role. You must have regional experience and ideally be based in the UAE.

Education and Qualifications
• Graduate Degree in Finance & Accounting
• Postgraduate qualification preferred
• Chartered Accountant Accreditation (ACCA, CPA, CA).
• Track record of developing and implementing robust governance culture.
• Track record of managing tight cash control environment.
• Good command of English
• Knowledge of large scale infrastructure project investments
• Knowledge of contracting environment
• Knowledge of complex financial structuring and large scale debt structures preferred
• People Management skills
• Arabic language will be an added advantage
