Securities is currently seeking Interns for our Commodities Department. The
purpose of this position is to learn the function of the commodities (Trading
in Gold, Silver & Oil in the global market). Please see job description

Purpose of the job -:
To understand and communicated the different aspects of fundamental and technical trading to all potential and existing clients and to provide a high level of tele-sales support by ensuring all queries are responded to in an efficient, professional and timely manner.
Job Functions:
• Learn how to trade in the international market.
• Understand the benefits of trading via KASB Commodities
• Understand the technical and fundamental aspect of trading globally.
• Assisting existing and potential clients via phone and email.
• To support the development of the Marketing and Business Development function.
• To take responsibility for specific marketing campaigns and projects within the department.
• To actively seek opportunities for and to develop new business opportunities, resulting in the sales and retention of potential and existing clients via telephone.
Job Requirements:
• Senior or recent graduate with a major from one of the following areas: , Economics, Finance, Business(with a particular focus on International), or a relevant science discipline
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office, ability to manipulate spreadsheets and use web-based and other computer-based inventory tools. Identify opportunities, produce leads and book appointments for the sales force with the emphasis on high quality leads.
• Develop creative pitches and propositions
• Proactively follow up leads generated from canvassing by the account managers.
• Use of initiative to identify and follow up opportunities.
• Manage the database to a high degree of accuracy to ensure targeted marketing activity can take place to generate new business
• Work closely with the marketing team to achieve sales objectives
• Negotiate commercial terms within set guidelines
