Vacancy Announcement - Buner

An International Humanitarian Organization seeks applications for the following positions for USAID funded multi years projects. Below are qualifications for the positioning along with illustrative responsibilities and required experience/s.

1) Position: Agency Coordinator (1 Position)
Location: Bajaur Agency

This position will lead the program team for smooth implementation of program activities at agency level and assists in the preparation of reports, data base up-graduation and development of capacity building strategies. Provide technical assistance M&E and execution of the activities, maintain an updated database on indicators of health, HCPS, HF and other areas like education, women issues and economic opportunities, ensure early establishment of AHMT and keep continuous liaison with the team, educational and political administration at agency level.

Required Qualification and Experience

  • MBBS/Master Degree in Public Health
  • 7 years of relevant work experience including 3-5 years of sector experience
  • Strong analytical, monitoring, evaluation and report writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Candidate must be from Bajaur Agency
2) Position: Health Information System/MEAL Officer (1 Position)
Location: Bajaur Agency

This position will establish and manage M&E and Accountability System at agency level, Manager and strengthen Accountability to Beneficiaries mechanisms at agency level. Carry out regular field monitoring of program interventions at agency level and produce monitoring reports regularly.

Required Qualification and Experience:
  • Bachelors/Master's Degree in Social/Management Sciences with 2-3 years of monitoring evaluation, accountability and data management experience preferably with INGOs.
  • Expertise in databases, MS Office and other analysis softwares such as SPSS
  • Knowledge of local languages and culture in mandatory
  • Ability to work in challenging environment
  • Good interpersonal and Communication skills
  • Proficient in report writing and documentation
  • Candidate must be from Bajaur Agency
3) Position: Community Outreach Officer (1 Position)
Location: Buner

This position will assist District Coordinator in the successful implementation of community mobilization and outreach activities of the program. Assist in designing and developing Capacity Building (CB) formats and Community Mobilization (CM & Outreach) strategy and ensure its implementation.

Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Graduate degree with a minimum of 3 year experience in CM & CB
  • Good communication skills and familiars with formal official correspondences
  • Good understanding of development issues
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and other creative applications
  • Candidate must be Buner
4) Position: Driver (2 positions)
Location: Peshawar & Bajaur Agency

This position is required to drive vehicles in use in accordance with the fleet policy as well as local traffic laws.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • Matric or equivalent with at least 2-3 years' experience working on similar position.
  • Willingness and ability to dramatically change work practices and work with incoming surge teams, in the events of emergencies.
  • Sensitive to the cultural & political environment
  • Prepare to work and live in the challenging surroundings
  • Valid Driving License
  • For Peshawar Position: Preferred resident of Islamabad/Rawalpindi
  • For Bajur: Preferred residence of Buner
5) Position: Cook (1 Position)
Location: Peshawar

This position will ensure to cook lunch and tea for staff and visitors on daily basis. He/She will maintain physical inventory records of food items and submit regular expenditure reports to administration officer.

Required Qualification and Experience
  • Middle/Matric or equivalent with at least 2-3 years of experience working on similar position
  • Reading/writing skills in Urdu. Knowledge of English is preferred.
