Designation: Assistant Manager Procurement
Location: Karachi
Qualification: Bachelors with relevant experience, preferably MBA from an accredited local or foreign Institute.
Experience: Minimum 3 years relevant experience in industry. Use of SAP MM will be a plus.
Responsibilities & Authorities:
Execute plans and strategies for all types of procurement and ensure their timely and cost effective purchase at optimum stock levels
Implement comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and follow purchasing manuals for the local procurement and import of the Raw Materials, Machinery & equipment.
Manage vendors to ensure good strategic vendor relations, availability of multiple sources of procurement on best possible procurement terms
Ensure material procurement for optimum yield.
Develop cordial business relationships with representatives of suppliers, and other external business contacts through the most efficient use of resources
Participate in the development of specification for equipment and products
Carry out Daily operations to ensure smooth availability of material in given time lines.
