Industrial Relations Associate - Karachi

One of the leading MNCs in Karachi, Pakistan are seeking to hire an Industrial Relations Associate. 

Experience required: 3-5 years experience working in FMCG or manufacturing plant.

Must have experience managing operations and union as well liaising with government bodies.

Educational Qualifications & Experience             
·         Graduate with post graduate qualification in Industrial Relations and Labor Laws with Degree in law with minimum of  8-10 years of experience in Industrial Relations
Skill set for this Position
·         Should have handled Industrial Relations, statutory compliances, Long Term Settlements. Liaison with local labour authorities.
·         Thorough functional knowledge in HR, IR, & Statutory Matters.
·         Good interpersonal skills, excellent team building capabilities, planning, co-ordination and decision making skills.

Job Responsibilities
·         Responsible for creating a fair, respectful, diverse and high performance culture enabling people to contribute their best.
·         Develop, deliver and maintain a business focused employee relations strategy.
·         Lead on the employee relations aspects of proposed changes to organization structure and employment levels and contracts which are needed to be supported.
·         Contribute to the strategic development of the Human Resource function by developing a progressive, business focused employee relations strategy that meets the current and future needs of the organization. 
·         Identify and implement positive employee relations programmes, in consultation with the relevant stakeholder groups, that will lead to a more efficient and motivated workforce.
·         Provide responsive and high quality support, training and advice to all parts of the business including senior managers to ensure the appropriate management of all employee relations issues including in particular change management, grievances, poor performance
·         and disciplinary action.
·         Provide advice and guidance on all the ER aspects of pay and reward projects, changes to pay related terms and conditions of employment, pay reviews and their implementation.
·         Ensure company policies and processes are current, conform to employment legislation and, where appropriate, are coherent with other government departments’ practices.
