Applications are invited for the post of Director Sports for
Pakistan leading network, the Pakistan Television Corporation, Islamabad.
Eligibility:
The applicants should posses one of the following qualifications & experience:
Minimum educational qualification must be a degree in Sports, Journalism/ Mass Communication,Bachelors in Business Administration, Bachelors or its equivalent from an HEC recognized university.
Any extra qualification or courses from reputed international universities will hold additional weight in the pre-selection agenda.
The applicant must be between the ages of 40 to 50 years at the time of submission of application.
Applicant must have a minimum of ten years of prior experience in the sports industry with emphasis on broadcasting on national & international networks, or in management of the international/ national teams, relationship with sports bodies, strong negotiation skills, marketing & sports management experience and a general know-how of the sports industry.
The applicant should also show strong communication and drafting skills. He/ She must also hold demonstrated skill and experience in on-screen promotion, creative writing, any understanding/ longstanding experience/ relationship with advertisers & sponsors.
The applicant should also be well versed with elements of on-screen promotion and ATL/ BTL advertising and an understanding of current and prevalent advertising/ marketing and screen graphics.
Any publications in national/ international newspapers, journals, websites and sports broadcasting experiences will rank high in the pre-selection agenda.
Package & Emoluments:
M-III Government of Pakistan Pay Scale. Negotiable as per the job description.
