The overall duration of the English and IT training is expected to be 2-3 years.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES :
The services consist in the execution of the following activities:
- Coordination of all training activities;
- Teaching of
English as a Foreign Language to our local personnel;
- Teaching of Basic IT Skills to our local personnel;
- Design and development of above mentioned courses;
METHODOLOGY :The methodology adopted, in accordance to the taught subjects, shall include training in classroom, exercises and simulations or when necessary other methodologies even if not expressively mentioned.
MACRO SUBJECTS:The main macro areas are reported here following; such macro areas are just indicative of the sector of reference for the Teaching and for the Design/Development of courses.
JOB ROTATION :A job rotation of 28 working days / 28 off it is expected
Progress Benchmark:
1) Entry Language oral and written Assessment Test
2) Monthly Grammar and Function Consolidation Test ->Written/Oral/Listening
3) Final Exam -Written/Oral/Listening/Role-play/Mini Presentation
Objectives, Programmes and Contents
Information Technology training
Objective:The IT training will involve the basic instruction of the skills required by participants to use to use the fundamentals of current workplace IT hardware and software – MS Office (Word, excel, Outlook) .
Programme:The contents detailed here following are developed for participants who are absolute beginners.The overall length is approximately 80 hours, with a course duration to be determined taking into account the shift patterns (where applicable) of 4 hours per day on a shift pattern of 2 on shift days and 2 off shift days. In addition to this, some personnel will be available 4 hours per day for 5 days per week.

PLACES OF DELIVERY:Courses are planned to be delivered in
Basra, Iraq.
LANGUAGES OF COURSES:The teaching activity, in general, shall be mainly delivered in English, although it is preferable that the trainers have a working knowledge of Arabic.
