Job Specification:
The candidate is expected to be well versed in:
·
Power Plant Operation Knowledge
·
Understanding of Thermodynamics
·
Operation & control of unit desk
·
Understanding of boiler and turbine operation
& their auxiliaries
·
Desalination, Demineralization Plants
·
Cooling water intake pump facilities including
hypochlorite & hydrogen plants
·
Fuel oil handling, including auxiliary boilers
and steam heating systems

Job Specification:
The candidate is expected be well versed in:
·
Basic power plant knowledge
·
Unit start-up & shut-down
·
Hydrogen, Demineralization, Desalination and Hypochlorite
plants.
·
Boiler, diesel engines, compressors, fans, firefighting
systems.
· Fuel oil handling, cooling water intake pump
facilities.

Applicants are required to demonstrate, experience in
operating & monitoring various auxiliaries of thermal power plant including
above.

Educational/Professional
Requirements:
|
|
·
Ideally a diploma holder in mechanical or
electrical discipline or equivalent suitable engineering knowledge
demonstrating with 3 to 5 years of practical experience preferably at a power
plant.
·
Fluent in spoken & written English.
Candidate should be a team player having good interpersonal skills.
·
Physically fit, energetic, trustworthy and of
good character. Basic computer knowledge is added advantage.
