Position:CNC Machines Operator (For Fabrication workshop)Machineries Needs to Operate:CNC beam sawing and drilling, CNC plate plasma cutting, CNC press brake and NC plate bending machines

Summary:Under minimal supervision, set up, operate and maintain CNC Machines to fabricate steel products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
Planning machines by carefully studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, drawings, locations of surfaces, and interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances.
Planning the stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock.
Properly and safely loads and unloads raw materials in CNC machinery.
Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
Understands, interprets and edits CNC programming with the CAD knowledge.
Calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
Feed mechanism to be loaded by lifting stock into position.
Specifications should be maintained by observing cutting, bending, drilling and rolling, operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
Understands and has the ability to perform tool wear offsets.
Continuity to be maintained among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs to maintain the equipment properly to avoid unwanted and alarming situations.
Complies with safety procedure, quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.

Working Conditions:

Ensuring that the machine and control area are clean, well lit, heated so that warm in winter, air conditioned so that cool in summer and well ventilated. Must follow prescribed safety precautions as working around machine tools presents certain dangers. Wearing protective equipment which is required, such as safety glasses to shield and protect oneself against bits of flying metal, and earplugs to avoid harmful machinery noise. When handling hazardous coolants and lubricants caution must be exercised.

Qualification and Experience:
 
Technically qualified in mechanical and structural CAD.
Should have good knowledge in steel fabrication processes like cutting by plasma and oxy-fuel,            drilling, sawing, plate rolling, cone developments.. etc.
Must have minimum 3 year experience.
