· To lead, manage and drive the start-up training and development business unit including strategic development, P&L. responsibility, product/course development and staff management. · To grow the established courses and develop new ones with the objective of achieving and exceeding revenue and profit targets. · Provide leadership and professional expertise in the design and development, planning and implementation of training and development courses. · To ensure rigorous post course analysis to assess the opportunities, and make recommendations for course content/program improvements. · To provide leadership and direction in the delivery of the courses with an emphasis on high standards, attention to detail and good customer experiences. · In partnership with relevant staff to ensure utilisation of good systems and technology practice to automate elements of the planning, tracking and implementation where ever possible. · To manage and develop the unit's staff including recruitment, motivation, mentoring and training. · To develop, control and administer the overall annual P&L budget working in conjunction with the finance function. · To monitor individual course P&Ls in conjunction with the Training and Development managers. · To report and forecast accurately for clear visibility of financial performance and risk. · Take responsibility for his/her own self-development and for identifying any additional training needs. · Excellent Management skills in a multi-location environment with an emphasis on people skills and a "roll up your sleeves" management style · Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high paced work environment · Excellent written and oral English communication skills including ability to plan and deliver effective presentations are a must. |
