Job Summary
This position is responsible to ensure successful development, implementation and support of business software applications.
Job Description

  • To prepare the software application requirements report
  • To design the software applications in the area of Supply Chain Management.g. MRP, Purchasing, Inventory and Warehousing / Stores
  • To design the software applications in the area of Industrial Operation Planning.g. Production Planning, QC, Plant Maintenance and Project Management
  • To develop (coding) the software applications in the area of Supply Chain Management and Industrial Operation Planning
  • To test and implement the applications
  • To plan and conduct training sessions for application users
  • To provide the application support to users
  • To prepare himself for backup support on at least one other business functional area application as assigned
  • To evaluate improvements and benefits through modification in existing applications
  • To migrate the data from legacy system to newly developed applications
  • To modify /change the applications as and when required
  • To prepare the user and technical manuals of applications
  • To participate as active team member in other development and implementation projects
  • To perform other duties as and when assigned
Minimum Education B.S in Computer Science (preferably M.S / M.Sc. -Computer Science)
Specialty in Oracle is a must.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Recording of all documentation related to Imports.
  • Handling shipping documents of imports and after scrutiny pass them to the clearing agent.
  •  Generating reports from data entries as per Director's requirement & Departmental Internal Customers
  •  Coordinate with clearing agent for timely clearance of imported consignments
  •  Coordinate with Banks for L/c establishment and Retirement of  Original Documents
  • Liaison with Transporter for timely transportation of imported consignments
  •  Liaison with Shipping agent to check the status of vessel   Expected Arrival
  • Assist departmental Head in preparation of monthly Budget & presentations
  •  Prepare & submit daily departmental budget
  •  Prepare and submit sale tax return for the department
  •  Prepare Delivery Order & Sale Tax invoice for Fiber Sales
  •  Prepare Actual costing for Goods Dispatch Accounting Purpose
  •  Prepare Dispatch advice for relevant consignment
  •  Check demand from clearing agent for custom dues
  •  Check & forward Bills for Transporters.
  •  Check & forward Bills for Insurance Policy
