SUMMARY

Backend Operations Manager ensures that all operations satisfy
customers' needs. He may work at various levels, from head office to
the front end of the business and it might include:
- helping to develop a customer service policy for an entire organization;

appropriate time frame.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-- Work closely with other departments to identify the key drivers of

-- Responsible for CRU (L3 Visits) at customer premises
- L3 visits within TAT
- L3 visits prioritization
- L3 visit target per day / per week
- Proactive approach to work closely with Technical to improve network
and reduce L3 visits
- Trend analysis and reporting based on L3 visits
-- Responsible for CPE collection based on the given target by the management
-- Ensure collection of CPEs at end of each customer life cycle
-- Follow up and maintenance of the CPE inventory (CRU)
-- Provide reporting on team activity, statistics and competitor behavior
-- Analyze trends/data and drive performance improvements.
-- Maintain, develop and document department policies, practices and procedures
-- providing help and advice to customers using your organization's
products or services;
-- communicating courteously with customers by telephone, email,
letter or face to face;
-- investigating and solving customers' problems, which may be complex
or long-standing problems that have been passed on by customer service
assistants;

QUALIFICATIONS

Postdoc Position at Qatar University: Research Associate in Software Engineering


 

  
Description:

As part of a research project jointly awarded to Qatar University (QU) and West Virginia University (WVU), a Postdoctoral Research Associate (RA) is sought to assist in designing and developing a framework for architecture design reasoning, quality prediction and trade-off analysis for software architecture using Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques. The RA will also assist in the establishment of the International Centre of Excellence in Software Engineering at Qatar University.

This is an up to 3 year postdoctoral opportunity for PhD holders in Computer Science/Engineering. The position will start at the beginning of February 2011. The source of funding requires that the Postdoctoral Research Associate (RA) relocate to Qatar for the duration of the project.

There is a growing research environment in Qatar. The Qatari government has pledged 2.6% of the national GDP for research and development through various programs particularly the National Priority Research Program (NPRP) (http://www.qnrf.org), Qatar Science & Technology Park (http://www.qstp.org.qa) and Qatar Computing Research Institute (QCRI).

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must hold a PhD in Computer Science/Engineering.  Candidate should have research experience records in one or more of the following research area:
