Note: This position reports to the Head of HR/Admin

Salary: About 160K – 220K

Essential Requirement:
-- About 7 – 10 years of general management experience
-- Recent experience in Large Fleet Management (Managment of a Large Number of Vehicles)
-- Note: Candidate could be from Telecom companies, Oil companies, FMCG companies etc (as long as he has experience in managing a large number of vehicles)

Job Description:
Oversee nationwide vehicle fleet operation including administrative
services as well as Technical fleet in accordance with business needs
Manage the nationwide transportation staff and outsourced transport
vendors to deliver quality service
Develop fleet administration standards and vehicle operating policies
and ensure implementation
Prepare annual budgets and periodic reports on operating costs;
purchase (or lease) of vehicles and related equipment
Put processes in place to ensure value for money while overseeing
maintenance and repair of vehicles.
Ensure transparent and optimum replacement and disposal of vehicles.
Negotiate vehicle insurance related matters and put processes in place
for accident prevention
Oversee driver roasters and have periodic reviews to ensure that they
are physically fit to drive
Take the lead in timely resolution of fleet related conflicts and problems

The ideal candidate should:
- Have 7 – 10 years of general management experience with major in
fleet management

Essential Skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
with stakeholders within own and other departments
- Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to manage
an ethnically diverse workforce
- Strong communication ability; adept at communicating in
controversial as well as sensitive scenarios, able to express point of
view to range of audience at all levels of the hierarchy
- Working knowledge of vehicle maintenance
- Computer Proficiency
- Working knowledge of MS Office in Windows 9x and XP environment.

Desirable Skills
- Fleet management certification
- Multilingual (in Pakistani regional languages)
