One of our Clients is looking for Head of Treasury for the following role.

POSITION TITLE: Head of Treasury

POSITION BASED IN: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

· Master degree with 15+ years of professional experience in banking treasury with 3 years atleast in the similar role.

· Significant understanding of treasury and financial markets including underlying drivers of balance sheet liquidity and drivers of capital, product behavior, risk, treasury financial planning & reporting and regulatory requirements.

· Sound understanding of risk including a keen awareness of compliance discipline

· Proven leadership skills and excellent analytical skills

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Planning and analysis of economic capital and risk taking trends

· Understand and interpret quarterly economic capital results jointly with CFO

· Ensuring short-term liquidity of the bank

· Treasury reporting and analysis (treasury committee, capital committee and ALCOs)

· Control the funds transfer pricing process

· Oversee of all aspects of planning including the funding plan and capital plan

· Product control (i.e. taking charge of mapping each product with regard to its underlying liquidity, behavior characteristics and pipeline risk)

· Ensure the Treasury business is in line with compliance guidelines and regulatory requirements

· Developing products for wholesale banking clients and market them jointly with wholesale relationship management group

· Work with Head of Risk and CFO to assess effectiveness of hedging strategy

· Build and enhance the framework for returns and capital allocation both in the planning process and assure the bank retains flexibility to re-allocate capital during the year to the most value creating opportunities

· Monitor the units budget and ensure that the financial targets are achieved

· Ensure cooperation with Wholesale banking units

· Participate in formulating and executing wholesale banking strategy
