Title of Position: Security Manager

Job Location: Karachi

Number of Positions: One

Nature of Employment: Permanent

Education: Graduate preferably MBA

Age Group: 35 – 40 years

Experience: Preferably Ex-Army personnel having 3-5 years experience of working at similar position in any large Departmental Store

Job Functions

§ Supervise all on-duty security personnel.

§ Patrolling the store premises, initiating and monitoring investigations, coordinating job assignments and ensuring that each concerned is briefed on the day’s activities .  

§ Ensure that all security, safety and emergency systems and procedures are operational.

§ Make sure that access control systems, CCTV and other security equipment will remain operational at all times.

§ Develop and implement fool proof security plan.

§ Train, develop, coach and mentor safety / security staff.

§ Conduct periodical briefings to subordinates and / or functional peer groups.

§ Provide security education and awareness to the concerned.

§ Initiate and monitor internal and external incidents and provide rapid response, investigation and reporting of all emergencies.

§ Develop and maintain safety programs.

§ Monitor Private Security guard / Janitorial staff activities.

§ Coordinates with all departments on issues regarding day to day activities.

§ Development and implementation of employee work plans and schedules, performance measurement and evaluation, and counseling.

§ Ensures proper documentation of security related reports.
