Our Client, a Big IT MNC, is urgently looking for Sr. Presales Consultant – Backup Recovery Solutions for Dubai :

Qualification : Bachelor’s (Tech) degree or Equivalent

Job Description:

Provides high-level technical expertise in support of pre-sales activities in the assigned market.  Assists in the analysis, design and development of fully integrated technology solutions.  Technical emphasis is on hardware capabilities, software requirements and systems integration.  Makes technical and sales

presentations to customer's technical staff and senior management.  Understands clientand competitive technology and business applications within the assigned market.  May assist in the development of responses to customer requests and proposals as required.  Conducts research, answers questions and removes objections that arise in a sales campaign.  Applicable markets: Enterprise , Commercial, Partner, Specialist/Practice.

Job Responsibilities:

• Uses knowledge of competitive solutions to effectively address and dispel customer objections to client solutions, and train the account team.
• Strategies and executes technical sales calls.
• Configures and documents software, hardware and service solutions to meet customer and sales objectives. Completes required presales documentation quickly and accurately.
• Qualifies sales opportunities in the terms of customer technical requirements, competition, decision making process and funding.
• Presents and markets the design and value of proposed client solution and business case to customers, prospects and client management. Participates in mentorship of more junior TC family members.

Skills Required:

• A minimum of 4 (Presales consultant level) to 10 (Senior PreSales level) years of domain experience in the networking industry as an architect, systems engineer, or delivery engineer.
• Focused on supporting customer initiatives in the Backup and DR markets.
• Knowledge of VTL, NDMP, CIFS and NFS storage protocols.
• Knowledge of VMWare use cases and productivity applications.
• Knowledge of the BRS Core Products:  Data Domain, Avamar, NetWorker, EMC Disk Library (EDL), Disk Library for Mainframe (DLM) and Data Protection Advisor (DPA) desirable.
• Knowledge of at least one of the Backup and DR applications:  NetWorker, Netbackup w/ OST, TSM, CommVault or Backupexec required.
• Specialized Knowledge of one or more of: IBM, Netapp, Quantum, Sepaton, Exagrid, Archiving Solutions, Exchange, Oracle, Informix, SharePoint, MS SQL, SAP.
