Applications are invited for employment in Pakistan Engineering Council Islamabad as Registrar (PEC Scale-21) Islamabad, on prescribed forms along wit bio-data, copies of certificates, CNIC (in duplicate) along with three latest photographs by 08-05-2013.
Eligibility
Candidates possessing B.E/B.Sc. Engineering degree and having a status of Professional Engineer in the register of PEC. Candidates with Post Graduate qualifications, foreign training and having attended/participated in advanced courses of Management/Administration will be given preference. Candidate should possess a minimum of 22 years experience out of which 5 years should be in a managerial/supervisory position. Experience of Office Management, dealing with Government Departments, National/Multinational/Public/Private Sector organizations is essential.
Persons should have excellent organizational and presentation skills and thorough knowledge of PEC Act, Byelaws, rules, regulations. Active affiliation with Professional bodies especially PEC will be given preference. Experience of dealing with legal processes and procedures is desirable.
Furthermore, it is clarified that candidates upto an age of 65 years may apply for the said post for the reason that in case PEC does not find any suitable candidate within the prescribed age limit as per PEC service rules, it may then consider the case(s) of overage candidate(s) in accordance with PEC rules for offering of employment purely on contract basis. This is to provide fair, open and wide competition for selection of suitable candidate without any prejudice to any applicant/candidate.
