The World Bank has approved a credit in the amount of US$ 150 million to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for Punjab Cities Governance Improvement Projects (PCGIP). The Project will be implemented by The Urban Unit in 5 large cities of the Punjab (Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi). The project aims to support the large cities of the Punjab in strengthening systems for improved planning, resource management and accountability.

A Project Technical Cell within the Urban Unit and 5 City Project Units in each of the partner cities have been established for implementation of the Project. To staff the Project Technical Cell and City Project Units, Urban Units seeks application in the following areas on performance based contract. 1.	Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist	1	Masters in Project Management, MBA/M.Sc. Economics with at least five 05 years relevant experience preferably in public/development sector.
2.	Implementation & Coordination Officer	1	Sixteen Years qualification in Project Management/Business Administration, with at least 03 years of relevant experience. Preference will be given to candidates having experience with international donors/agencies.
3.	Procurement Officer	2	Sixteen Years qualification in (Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Economics, Business Administration) with at least 03 years of relevant experience. Preference will be given to candidates having experience with international donors/agencies.
4.	Environment & Social Safeguards Officer	5	M.Sc. or Sixteen Years qualification in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Sciences / Environmental Management, with at least 03 years’ of relevant experience.
5.	Monitoring & Evaluation Officer	2	M.Sc or Sixteen Years qualification in Project Management, MBA/M.Sc. Economics, with at least 03 years’ experience of conducting M&E and Report Writing particularly on foreign funded governance reform projects.
6.	Institutional Development Officer	4	Masters’ degree or Sixteen Years qualification in Public Administration / Law / Civil Engineering, with a first degree in law, excellent understanding of development, planning and institutional affairs. At least 03 years of relevant experience working on govt. laws and regulations particularly relevant urban service laws.
7.	Urban Planner	5	Masters degree or sixteen Years qualification in Urban Planning / Urban & Regional Planning / City & Regional Planning, with at least 03 years of relevant experience.
8.	City Coordinators (Lahore based)	3	Masters degrees or Sixteen years qualification in Project Management / Business Administration, with at least 02 years of relevant experience. Preference will be given to candidates having experience with international donors / agencies.
9.	Research Associates (Five cities)	30	Masters degree or Sixteen Years qualification in Urban Planning or Transport / Environment / Civil Engineering or Business Administration with CGPA 3.0 / 70% marks, with at least one year experience
