Scientific Officer - Islamabad

Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for the following position in Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF), Islamabad.

Chief Scientific Officer (BS-20) Merit	1  Islamabad	Ph.D In Natural/Physical/Applied Sciences with 14 years teaching/research experience in BS-17 and above in a University/Scientific organization with at least 3 years’ experience in BS-19. Preference will be given to candidates possessing administrative experience in a scientific organization. 10 research publications in HEC recognized journals. Computer literacy is essential.

i. Age limit for the candidates is 35-40 years. Age limit would be relax-able in deserving cases, as per Government Rules.

ii. Allowance & other benefits like G.P. Fund, Medical Facilities and House Rent Allowance etc, are admissible as per PSF Regulation.

iii. No. TA/DA will be paid for appearing in test/interview.

Applications though email/fax or any urgent mail service on prescribed "Applications Form" downloadable from PSF website, www.psf.gov.pk, must be received in the office of Secretary, PSF, at email address: psfsecy@psf.gov.pk by 24th June, 2013. Incomplete application or those received after due date, shall not be entertained.

Candidates will submit original application form (duly signed) alongwith a set of attested copies of necessary documents at the time of interviews. Their original documents and NOC from their employer will be checked at the time of interview.

Candidates apply for the post should appear for interview on June 29th, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Pakistan Science Foundation, 1-Constitution Avenue, G-5/2, Islamabad and no other call letter will be issued in this regard.
