Community Liaison/Training Officer - Rahim yar Khan

Community Liaison and Training Officer

Based: Rahim yar Khan

Contract Period: September 2013 till February 2014

Main Responsibilities / Duties:
  • To plan and organize public health awareness activities at the BHUs & in the communities according to the standardized WHO/ UNICEF/ MoH curricula.
  • To establish village health committee in selected areas.
  • To Conduct Health seminars.
  • To work closely with the Project Manager RYK
  • To conduct regular meetings and trainings for LHWs.
  • To Facilitate the EPI Immunization campaigns.
  • To insure community support and involvement in the project; participate in selection of community liaison volunteers, sensitize communities for Malteser International health and other project activities.
  • To Prepare and submit of daily/weekly/monthly reports to Project Manager
  • To monitor Malteser International activities and follow-up from communities.
  • To work closely and cooperate with the medical staff and government departments, when required.
  • To conduct necessary assessments and surveys in coordination with Project manager
  • To perform any other duties related to community involvement or interests.
Core qualifications:
  • Graduate in social sciences.
  • Working experience in education and health, preferably 3 years working experience with INGO in rural areas.
  • Good team member.
  • Willingness to work in the field with local communities.
  • Strong communication skills.
Starting Date: ASAP
