Community Liaison and Training Officer
Based: Rahim yar Khan
Contract Period: September 2013 till February 2014
Main Responsibilities / Duties:
- To plan and organize public health awareness activities at the BHUs & in the communities according to the standardized WHO/ UNICEF/ MoH curricula.
- To establish village health committee in selected areas.
- To Conduct Health seminars.
- To work closely with the Project Manager RYK
- To conduct regular meetings and trainings for LHWs.
- To Facilitate the EPI Immunization campaigns.
- To insure community support and involvement in the project; participate in selection of community liaison volunteers, sensitize communities for Malteser International health and other project activities.
- To Prepare and submit of daily/weekly/monthly reports to Project Manager
- To monitor Malteser International activities and follow-up from communities.
- To work closely and cooperate with the medical staff and government departments, when required.
- To conduct necessary assessments and surveys in coordination with Project manager
- To perform any other duties related to community involvement or interests.
Core qualifications:
- Graduate in social sciences.
- Working experience in education and health, preferably 3 years working experience with INGO in rural areas.
- Good team member.
- Willingness to work in the field with local communities.
- Strong communication skills.
