Job Summary:
- Be responsible for medical data collection, analysis and reporting to the Medical Team Leader in DMJ to ensure a proper monitoring of the program.
- Represent MSF in the district level health systems forum and advice the MTL and PC accordingly.
- Participate in the development of the project policy annual plan, project proposal, budget review and project reports to donors.
- Monito activity in the different medical specialities as well as providing technical support to medical personnel in DMJ project through self-knowledge and policies to help MSF medical activities in the field. In this sense, includes monitoring and ensuring compliance with the protocols of MSF medical activities.
- Give support to the Medical Supplies Officer in supervision and supply of medical stocks in all departments by.
- Promote the policies and protocols of MSFH refrain from practicing out of regular working station and organization. Should not prescribe medications outside these policies for local purchase from the bazaar.
- Coordinate, Supervise, coach and support medical team members' performance to improve the medical components of the project and ensure compliance with MSF protocols.
- Manage all referrals together with the doctors responsible to Jacobabad Civil hospital or Quetta health facilities and ensure that patients are aware of the conditions of referral.
Requirements:
- Minimum medical doctor degree (MBBS) with valid PMDC registration.
- Desirable: A relevant postgraduate qualification in public health, public health management, maternal and child health, tropical medicine etc.
- At least 2 year MSF experience in a medical position or equivalent experience with any an INGO or other sector (e.g. hospital etc.)
- Able to speak English , Urdu and any other relevant local language.
- Good communication and social skills & respectful behavior.
- Computer skills (Word, Excel and Power Point)
- Capacity to work in amultidisciplinary and international team.
- Ability to manage and organize work independently and proactively.
- Flexibility in case of emergencies to work longer hours, extra days and to change duty station to meet the needs of the program.
- Willingness to work in remote areas with marginalized communities Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet)
