The application should be a financial expert/Chartered Accountant from recognized institute of MBA Finance from foreign university or a national university of high repute with 15 years’ experience, including atleast 5 years at the higher management level.
The Member Finance for PTA should be a Financial Expert responsible for assuming a leadership role on all financial and economic matters relating to all regulatory issues, such as competition monitoring, license fee determination, tariff fixation, interconnect pricing, taxation of the sector, adjudication of financial disputes, drafting of regulations, effective financial management of the Authority and efficient internal control system and activities incidental to the functions and powers of PTA.
Preference and relaxation in experience will be given to candidates who possess MBA degree from renowned foregn University and also have International work experience with well-reputed financial institutions.

Member (Technical)
The applicant should be a professional Telecommunication Engineer responsible for assuming a leadership role relating to regulating the telecommunication system and provision of telecommunication services in Pakistan.
a)      Ph.D in Telecom System/Electronics/Electrical Engineering with specialization in telecommunication with 15 years relevant experience in a responsible position in public or private sectors.
OR
M.Sc/M.S (Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering with specialization In telecommunication or in a related discipline with a minimum of 18 years’ experience in a responsible position in public/private sector; OR B.SC Engineerign with not less than 20 years’ experience, out of which atleast 5 years’ experience should beat higher management level.

        c) Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council.

Emoluments: The Members of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority shall be pid the salary and be entitle to the privileges of an Officer in MP-II scale (Rs. 110,000-16500-176,000)
Upper Age Limit: 56 Years
Tenure: The selected candidates shall be appointed for an intital term of four years.
