We are looking for candidates for a large Telecom Multinational company.

Position Title: Head of Supply Chain
Internal Grade: Director
Position location: Islamabad
Salary: Rs. 240K – 480K per month (based on profile)
Required: 10+ years experience of managing progressively responsible
Supply Chain management assignments
Basic Functions:
Organize and manage the Supply Chain processes in a manner that fully
satisfies customer needs, by delivering at the right time and a
competitive cost to ensure sustainable business development while
keeping the organization's strategic interest supreme.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• To develop and implement the Supply Chain strategy based on
competitive environment for the company, which will deliver the long
term sustainable advantage of the supply chain.
• To develop appropriate strategies and capabilities that
drive cross-functional integration and collaboration at different
levels across the organization, including suppliers and customers.
• To develop dynamic, value driven plans at all levels,
delivering targeted results in line with strategy and provide the
business with the appropriate products and services at the right time,
place and cost.
• To deliver customer value through company Supply Chain by
positioning it in the right; trade off zone; i-e where costs are
balanced against service and allow strategies to be set that drive
service up and cost down over the longer term.
• To develop appropriate end to end sourcing strategy and
capabilities that drive functional integration and collaboration,
treating who work with us as partners in each stage of supply chain.
• To deliver benefits through modeling of all the main Supply
Chain network parameters and determining the optimal arrangement that
will reduce cost and improve profits while fully satisfying service
levels. To bring innovative approach to delivery and Warehousing and
project it as a value-adding component of the total supply chain
(Primary and Secondary) by driving the effective, efficient flow and
storage of goods, services and information from the point of supply to
the point of demand.
• Forge relationships within the relevant group and the
industry/market amongst the supply chain fraternity to drive
competitive bargains for the organization.
Qualifications and Skills:
• 10+ years experience of managing progressively responsible
Supply Chain management assignments
• Demonstrated impeccable integrity
• Capacity to guide the resources of the function toward
customer needs and the ability to identify issues and develop
strategic plans for the function.
• Competent in managing information technology and systems in
the function. Knowledge of Oracle/SAP would be an advantage.
• Skilled in managing, developing and leading teams and
motivating them to generate high level of performance.
• Telecom business knowledge and exposure would be an advantage
• Professional degree
