Software development is one of the essential activities at Telenor Pakistan. This activity spans from developing systems' sub-modules to software maintenance and trouble shooting that enables and facilitates end-users in carrying out their routine business activities. At Telenor Pakistan, the software development being done making use of diverse nature of development tools and technologies. This position will fill requirement and will strengthen the team in carrying out ever-growing need of in-house software development. Effectively contribute to the growth of the organization and all its units according to strategy and plans. Individual will play a key role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the HR processes and systems. And also provide Support to BSS-Development Team in their operational tasks.

Reports To: Assistant Manager BSS Architect;
Work Location: Islamabad
Experience Required: 2 to 4 years

Key Responsibilities 
•Responsible to perform development activities.
• Actively participate in gathering end-users requirements
• Analysing requirements and developing/coding scripts to meet the requirements.
• Develop and maintain the documentation of developed scripts
• Working closely with development team and sharing knowledge in the area of development
• Design and implement new modules, or modify existing modules, to meet users requirements and to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of working processes.
• Keep up to date with the latest developments in programming to ensure that the department continues to take advantage of new ideas and developments.
• Analyze user requirements and identify programming solutions using a range of tools such as flow diagrams, decision trees etc.
• Discuss any proposed solution with vendors, programmers, other technical staff and end users to ensure its technical viability and to identify any problems.
• Assist in the implementation of any new system, taking any remedial action as necessary, to ensure that it is working effectively.

To bring innovative approach to delivery and Warehousing and project it as a value-adding component of the total supply chain (Primary and Secondary) by driving the effective, efficient flow and storage of goods, services and information from the point of supply to the point of demand.
- Forge relationships within the relevant group and the inustry/market amongst the supply chain fraternity to drive competitive bargains for the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:
- 10+ years experience of managing progressively responsible Supply Chain management assignments
- Demonstrated impeccable integrity
- Capacity to guide the resources of the function toward customer needs and the ability to identify issues and develop strategic plans for the function.
- Competent in managing information technology and systems in the function. Knowledge of Oracle/SAP would be an advantage.
- Skilled in managing, developing and leading teams and motivating them to generate high level of performance.
- Telecom business knowledge and exposure would be an advantage
