Assistant Manager Front End And Integration at Telenor, Islamabad

About the position Front-end & Integration services are directly responsible for development, maintenance and governance in the area integration services and front-ends. The candidate will be an experienced person with a technical background, preferably from a mix of development and project management. The candidate must develop the services in close cooperation with the Service Manager, business customers, the Operations team, 3rd party providers and business partners, in accordance with relevant processes to ensure that services are fully managed end-to-end.

Work Location Islamabad
Experience Required 3 to 5 years of relevant Experience

Key Responsibilities
The Application Manager will be responsible for coordination of resources, assisting projects and to secure efficient deliveries both in line and to customers
The Application Manager will be responsible for integration activities.

This includes
1. Responsibility for integration and interfaces towards other systems
2. Guiding and coordinating other team members to secure efficient deliveries
3. Overall responsible for the service improvements and change management in own area
4. Ensure good technical documentation for services in own area
5. Responsible for implementing processes and routines to achieve quality in the deliveries
6. Ensure optimal delivery of services according to defined processes and contracts (change/incident/problem/vendor/service level)
7. Takes initiative to keep skills up to date and maintain and share awareness of developments in own field of the ICT industry to stakeholders.
8. Monitor and ensure all targets and KPIs are met to secure the set goals
9. Responsible for high motivation level of the team while providing leadership and direction
10. Develop a culture within the Unit aligned with overall culture

Education/Professional Qualification
1. Bachelors in Comp. Science
2. Masters in Comp. Science (Preferred)

Certification(s): 
1.SOA related certifications preferred
2. Java certifications Preferred

Skills required
1. Experience with integration technology on different platforms.
2. Proven experience in managing projects, and development of SOA-solutions
3. Technically sound with understanding of customization tools
4. Familiarity with multinational organization's working style and culture
5. Managing teams of developers
6. Experience with 3rd party service provider management and sourcing contracts
