PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
·         A minimum of 10 years of sales or sales management experience in the Insurance Sector preferably Health Insurance Companies
·         INSURANCE SECTOR EXPERIENCE IS A PRE REQUISITE TO THIS POSITION & WILL BE ONLY CONSIDERED.
·         Demonstrated success in development of commercial alliances and management of strategic relationships with external partners
·         Proven track record of success in achieving, exceeding & executing strategic sales / account management goals.
·         Broad functional experience in strategic planning, sales and marketing, business and market development.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
·         The professional will be the key member of a dynamic start-up. Reporting directly to the President, and working with a small agile team , he will be the key leader responsible for development and execution of the company’s sales efforts.
·         Responsible for the development and execution of the company’s sales efforts to ensure company goals and strategic objectives are being met
·         Oversee the account management, sales, contracts, and negotiations.
·         Manage and motivate the sales team by establishing priorities to achieve goals and ensure profitable top line financial performance.
·         Develop and execute short and long-term strategic sales plans required to achieve desired customer sales, retention, brand development, and profitability objectives.
·         Deliver results against an annual revenue plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives to generate high growth.
·         Create strong customer relationships and mentor staff in effective sales skills.
·         Evaluate current processes and improve the effectiveness of sales methods, costs, and results.
·         Prepare monthly sales forecasts and monitors/manages changes to assure that the pipeline of sales opportunities and activities is sufficient to meet revenue targets
·         Oversee the reporting and tracking of sales compensation plans
·         Develop and maintain a positive corporate image through recruiting, training and adherence to all company core values.
·         Play a key role in driving the company’s overall business strategy, processes, and people initiatives.
