Managing Director (Islamabad)

Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) is an entity within government charged with the task of accelerating growth in the IT and IT enabled services sector. PSEB requires services of a dynamic and high caliber professional for the post of Managing Director on contract basis initially for a period of two years in MP-I pay scale.

Qualification: A Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science or Electrical/Electronic Engineering (at least 16 years of education). PhD will be given preference.

Age Limit: The candidate should be below 55 years of age by the closing date of applications.

Experience: At least 15 years of post qualification experience is required. The candidate must have experience in International Marketing, Business Development and Project Management, the last few years of which should have been spent in heading major IT or ITeS (IT enabled Services) company or IT consulting organization within the country or abroad. Experience in formulating ICT policies for growth and development of organizations at entrepreneur level would be preferred.

Pay Packages & Facilities per month: This is an Islamabad based contractual position in MP-I scale (Rs. 263,000 - 20,000 - 324,000) This includes house rent allowance (Rs. 101,000 - 142,000) and utilities allowance (Rs. 13100 - 16,200) and as per monetization policy, transport facility shall be provided @ amounting to Rs. 95,910/-. Managing Director (Islamabad)

Applications are invited for a 2 years contractual appointment against the senior position of Managing Director in Pakistan Television Corporation, Islamabad under the administrative control of Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. The position is placed in MP-I Grade in terms of Finance Division's O.M. No. F.3(2)R-4/2011 dated 24.12.2012 (Annex-B) vis-a-vis salary package, perks and privileges. Eligibility
The prospective candidate is supposed to possess the following qualification & experience:

a. MBA, MPA, MSc Mass Communication or Journalism / MSc Engineering from HEC recognized University in Pakistan OR abroad. A degree in law shall be considered an additional asset. Degrees shall be verified from H.E.C.

b. Age between 45 to 57 years.

c. Complete understanding of GOP Governance Framework in terms of Rules of Business 1973, Media Laws, Financial Rules and regulations framed there under.

d. Written evidence of 20 years service experience in a combination of public & private sector organizations in governance, management, financial management, and marketing.

Responsibilities
The prospective selectee will have to operate in news media and programmes production and related competitive environment, interact with GOP Organisations and must have a fair understanding to deliver in PPRA-regulated and Planning Commission's guidelines regulating * public sector development scheme in GOP Corporations.
